Hi, I'm Fue.

My name is pronounced /fu:/, like "food" without the "d". I'm a full-stack engineer who likes building clear, useful software with teams that care about both people and craft.

Background

I moved into software engineering in 2019, and the years since have kept me close to both users and teams, building product features people use directly, and the platform tooling that helps teams ship better experiences over time.

I started at Remesh (2020 to 2022), working across Django, React, and a Go ML pipeline, and taking the platform to WCAG A and AA compliance and 28+ languages. I then spent four years at Atlassian on Growth (2022 to 2026), where I led a machine-learning personalization program on high-traffic acquisition pages, designed and shipped contextual-bandit experiments, and built the content-platform capabilities internal marketing teams launched on.

Right now I'm building projects that let me own the whole stack. I'm open to any role where the work is meaningful to me and makes a positive impact, alongside great people in a collaborative team.

Experience

  1. Software Engineer · Atlassian (Growth)

    Sept 2022 to Aug 2026

    • Led a machine-learning personalization program on high-traffic acquisition pages: 8 contextual-bandit experiments, with shipped treatments at +11.3% and +33.2% conversion lift.
    • Built the personalization platform and generalized it across 3 product lines, scaling 18 hand-built variants into 1,632 targeted permutations.
    • Cut experiment QA from 60 to 15 minutes and content ingest from over a day to about 2 hours; mentored engineers and interns through promotion.

  2. Software Engineer II · Remesh

    Nov 2021 to Jul 2022

    • Built features across Django, React, and a Go ML pipeline, including a release that beat quarterly goals within its first month.
    • Added image cropping and video captions, and trained engineers to translate the platform into 28+ languages.

  3. Software Engineer I · Remesh

    Oct 2020 to Nov 2021

    • Started the accessibility work that brought the platform to WCAG A and AA compliance, and helped make it CCPA and GDPR compliant.
    • Built developer tooling that turned repetitive tasks into one click across the engineering team.
